Here is the nursery!

Well here is the nursery. I must admit, I love it. I walk by their room multiple times a day and just turn the lights on and stare at it. I really love how it turned out. I found this bedding after a long time of searching for fabrics to have the bedding all made. This was a great price and I loved the fact that their was red and blue in it is what sold me. I knew that I wanted a red and blue room because that is my favorite color combo to decorate with. I love the versatility that the dots provided because I knew I could do a lot with that. I LOVE color and boldness. i always thought that I wanted only pastel nurseries, but after doing Alexis's nursery I knew I "needed" color. I knew I wanted red frames that were kinda "plastic" looking. I wanted an Urban Outfitters feel for them. Jenn helped me spray paint them. Her idea was to have their initials inside the frames. One of the dots in the bedding is copper colored so we decided on gold letters.. I love the fact that they have the same initials and that the crib and walls mirror each other. The dresser i love. I got this dresser from a friend and the other piece is in our bedroom. I decided when I got the bedding that I was going to paint each drawer the colors of the dots. I wanted shiny white knobs too. The best part about all this was that i was on "bedrest" so mom and Jenn did all the Hard labor. Jason did an awesome job at painting the room, doing chair rail and putting up the light fixture, and curtains. I really get excited about accessorising rooms. I just collected stuff from around the house and i think it turned out. Anyway enjoy and thanks mom, Jenn and Jason for all your labor!
Me with the boys in the chair in their room. This was Alexis's pink chair and I bought these sheets for her big girl bed, but swiped them to cover this chair. I actually think I am happy enough with it and I am not going to replace it with a "real"slipcover.

So here are some recent pictures that Jenn took when she visited for 72 hours last week. She's got a great camera and great talent so I was so happy to get these pictures. Here are the latest pics of the little guys. They sure are growing. Jenn thought they felt like newborns while they seem like 3 month olds to me. She did remind me how lucky I am to have my babies for such a LONG newborn period since they have all been so early and tiny. I have to remind myself to enjoy this stage everyday and not be so anxious to get them grown and out of the "risky" stage.

Matthew and Mitchell

My favorite picture so far. They both are starting to smile, and I think that it isn't just gas smiles.

They have such different and unique personalities. Truly. You can't ruffle Mitchell's feathers. He is so easy going that usually he is the one who gets fed second, picked up second, bathed second. If you have to drop someone's bottle for a moment it better be his, because he will just roll with it. Matthew is like me and Jason describes us as going from 0-10 in 10 seconds. If he is hungry you have about 1 minute before it is pure chaos and he is screamin at the top of his lungs. It is actually really cute I think, because it is just so darn dramatic. i call him the "drama king". They are so sweet and really are aware of each other. They stare at each other and eat each others nose's and chins. Something else that we have noticed is Mitchell follows Matthews lead. If Matthew starts fussing for no apparent reason then Mitchell feels the need to be heard as well, just a lot less loud. I LOVE THESE boys. I must admit when the Dr. told us that we were having two boys we were both SOOO shocked and kind of like "well okay, interesting". We had no idea that this would be the cutest thing ever and so so much fun. I now know that BOYS ARE TRULY EQUAL TO GIRLS!!! I am not sure i will stop having kids though until I get another girl. They are about 8 lbs and Mitchy still has his blond hair and Matthews is staying spiky brown. They are just Yummy!
