HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL!!!!!

I must just say ditto to Jayne's' post, because that is SOOOO true!!!  She really steps up into the nurturing role.  I turn to all my sisters for different reasons.  They each fill my needs in different ways.  I won't go into what Jenn and Jayne do for me, but I will say what Jill always does on this glorious day of her birth!!

Jill ALWAYS shows the spiritual side of something.  She will make you NEVER feel guilty, she will tell you to LET up on yourself, she will tell you to do what makes you feel good, (in a non-sinning way!!!).  WHenever you call her with a problem or issue, you can be guaranteed you will get off the phone TOTALLY feeling better about your issue.  She makes things seem do able and not so overwhelming.  For example, the two times that I have cried this year over my frustrating trials, I called Jill.  Both times i hung up all better, because she has just the right advice!  Basically, she helps you always feel good about yourself, and the world needs more of that.  THANKS JILL!!  You are the BOMB!!!

Here they are!!! I love how these turned out!!!
look how they even match my blog layout.

A girl from Etsy did these for me. She only charged $45.00 for one. I did have to send her my fabric which upped my price quite a bit, but her labor is VERY AFFORDABLE!!!!!!!
I would totally recommend her.

Good Things

I actually liked this piece of spam mail

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'

1. Pray

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough rest.

18. Eat right.

19 Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus .'

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

32. Sit on your ego.

33 Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

'If God is for us, who can be against us?'
(Romans 8:31)

Alexis updates

Before i forget i thought i would post a couple cute things Alexis does these days...
1.   Just a second ago i sneezed while i sit here on the computer.  SHe is supposed to be asleep by now.  Her room is way down the hall, and after I sneezed i heard her yell "bless you mom!".  Just sweet.

2.  Daily, if we are upset with her and correcting her, she yells REALLY loud and forcefully "DON'T BE NICE LIKE THAT!!!!"

3.  So often when daddy or grandpa say something to her she quickly corrects them if she doesn't like what she hears.  for instance...
yesterday at lunch jason said "You ate all your pickle, Woah!"  She quickly says "It's not woah."

If dad says she looks darlings, she will sometimes say, "Don't say it dad!"

When Jason says she looks beautiful in her princess dress she says " I am not beautiful, I am "ayexisjnico"

4.  Even if she has been awake for two hours and i tell her something exciting about the day, like we will see her friend Blake, she is overcome with excitement and will often say " Good morning mom".

Wish me luck!

Happy Birthday "daddy's pripriss and mommy's girah"!

Well today we celebrated for the third day in a row Alexis' 3rd Birthday. We had a really fun birthday with some of her closest friends. We had games, pizza, cupcakes, and a pinata. She loved the attention and got some fantastic presents from friends and family. We bought her a bike. I am so exhausted that I can hardly think, so this post will be short.

Do to do.....

Well i have absolutely nothing to blog about especially since a part of my world has been shattered.  Why is it you ask?  Well after a very normal, very common mishap in my pregnancy last Sunday night I will be refraining from the highly anticipated family vacay next week.  I have shed my tears, stayed up late at night thinking, role played, talked about it, mulled it over 1000 times, asked every pregnant person, rationalized, justified, fought, ticked my Dr. off just to be reminded that it's not worth the risk in going.  (see video below, Alexis a few days old weighing 2lbs.) The bath is just a small tupperware box.  She is only barely over a foot long!

Oh I am so happy ALexis survived that horrific ordeal!!!  That was the first time i held her at 6 days old.

But...Can I have pity right now?   I don't live by my whole family and this would be the 3rd annual beach trip in North Carolina.  It is a blast and i have looked forward to this trip since last year when i drove out of the beach house driveway crying.  THe first two hours upon leaving I couldn't even talk last year, because I just wish SOOOOOOOO bad we all live next door to each other.  Some family's could care less and they get this wish, and that is my dream and it will probably never happen!!   I am SOOO blessed and happy that we live right near my parents.

Anyways, the babes are doing great and everything looks normal, but if something were to happen on this trip I would be so mad at myself.  So like mom says this is just one season of vacations we will miss and it is no big deal.  Jen told me that we will skype and i can be a part of certain things via computer.  Jason has been very sympathetic and keeps telling me to fly my sista's out for a weekend sometime soon.  He has been very nice to me.  We also had to cancel the part of the trip to drive to Ohio to visit his dad.

Anyway, if anyone wants to do something fun these next two weeks to take my mind of my depression then call me and let's go do something fun!!!!

"WHY?, YA WRITIN A BOOK?""

Happy Father's Day Pops!!
We all know how great pops is, but one thing some people may not know is that ANYTIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT if we are hungry he will stop WHATEVER he is doing and make you something to eat. You aren't allowed to ask what it is, and sometimes you are quite surprised, but you are not ever let down. I am especially noticing this service being famished and pregnant 24/7. The other night, jason and i had a steak salad, but about two hours later i was on deaths door with starvation. I got in my car with Alexis at 8:30 p.m. and went to ma and pa's house. When i walked in the door i said, "i need food" Then I yelled for dad. Mom offered and was going to make me a cheese sandwich. Dad left his golf game and came boldly down the stairs, saying "I WILL MAKE IT, GO SIT DOWN!" THAT IS DAD! Well I kept asking him what it was so i could change it up a little so i would be perfectly happy. He kept saying, "just wait, i am NOT telling you". So a few minutes later I am given a plate with a yummy, big turkey patty with A-1 all over it, Omaha Steak potatoes, and a grilled veggie mix of green beans and yellow squash, and then a delicious piece of toast. the second he sat down I said " Oh dad, I sure am thirsty" Up he ALWAYS goes to get anyone water!! Honestly, whatever sibling reads this will just know that i really hit the nail on the head on this post!! I sure do love my dad and if only the whole world could have a dad as cool, funny, thoughtful, smart and loving as my dad the world would be one happy place!!

My whole life whenever we asked dad what was for dinner, even if you were truly dying to know, he would ALWAYS reply with "Why, ya writing a book" and you could not get it out of him. He always names his meals.
SOme of my favorites are....
Mint Montecarlo,
Ratisbon Pie
Icelandic Surprise
Meal Versace
SKee
Ska
John's World Class Chili
Meal Scampi
MEAL Condiment

The thing about dad, is if I really had energy i could write all night about some freakin hilarious stuff he has come up with.

I love ya dad!

FROM DRAB TO FAB TAG FROM JENN

SO when you check out jennifer, jill and jayne's post you will see that they have turned something drab into something very fab, so i guess it is my turn! Most these projects are old, but i haven't done that much decorating lately, except for our bedroom that still isn't quite done. We still haven't even hung my gorgeous chandelier yet, in fact i still haven't even taken it out of the box. Call me pregnant, i know.
Here goes...SO this was the chandelier that the builder put in with those ugly etched looking glass shades, well i replaced those with frilly, crystal beaded ones, ripped up a wreath from Marshalls and laced it through the rod iron and then hung long crystals underneath the shades and painted the crystals pink... much improved.
WHy have a regular white ceiling medallion in a nursery when you can't paint it to match all the colors in the room?

My former uncle got rid of his dark brown laminate/wood desk and i asked my aunt for it and painted it fresh white and "dolled" it up a bit. It needs knew knobs desperately!!

Some folks may love this stained blue armoir with the pine knots showing through. Not me, when we moved it from the office it had to be painted white and i LOVE the aqua porcelin flower knobs and the pink knobs. WHen you open it I have the yellow knobs on the drawer. Much better in my opinion.

So keep the tag going and let us see what you have turned fab from drab!

Surprise!!!

Well after approximately 100 injections, 300 pills, 30 ultrasounds, 1 trial transfer, 1 egg retrieval, 2 embryo transfers, 70 blood tests and multiply trips to the Dr's office I AM PREGNANT!! And the even bigger news is that I am having TWINS!!!!!! Yes, i know what you are saying, "you didn't want twins?" Well at first I didn't and I do have my very nervous moments, but I am glad it has worked out this way! So the next big hurdle is keeping them inside me for longer than six months!!! Crazy! ALexis keeps lifting my shirt asking "Where are the babies?, I can't see em?
