The crib escaper!

JUST A MOMENT AGO, Alexis got out of her crib and said " I woke up". Then I said it was time for bed. SHe said "apple juice helps feel better".(her classic statement) AS i was ignoring her she went down stairs looking for Jason. She went to the front door with her plastic high heels and dark sunglasses and started to open the door to the pitch dark night. I said "don't you dare open that door!" There could be a mean person out there" Her reply was "look for cars both ways!" Then i went downstairs and we went outside to wait for jason and the dog. She was screaming his name loud in the nieghborhood saying " dad. dad, where are you?" When he finally got home, they went on a walk to the mailbox. We are pushovers!

I am starting to actually want to use this blog as a journal so if i start boring you with my toddler stories then lo siento!

How CUTE! She's so darling!! I like the toddler stories. I think a blog should be exactly what you want. I love hearing about her, and it's a great way to keep up with her.

Ya, I agree with you on the journaling thing. I don't scrapbook or journal so I use my blog. My friend told me you could have your blog made into a book, so each year you can have it printed out. I'll look for the company name and send it to you. Alexis is the cutest :)

What a great story! I can picture everything and she is so cute. Its a fun age when they start to want to look cute and play dress up. She is so cute.

Two words....CRIB TENT. They are a lifesaver and they really work. They are pretty cool and the boys were really excited when we got it. They thought it was a treat to sleep in the tent. It extends the life of the crib....the best invention ever!! Plus you never have to worry about them wandering when you are asleep or falling out of the crib while climbing. I will say no more on the subject, cause I am sure you are running out to the store to get one right now!

WOW!!!!!! I think you just solved it. I am so not thinking about a "big girl bed" like everyone suggests!! She loves tents also! You saved the day!

This is so cute, you are smart to write these things down. I love the idea of the crib tent - Emma is already trying to climb out...
