Update time!

I wanted to post again, but so much has taken place that I couldn't hardly face it. I hadn't even posted a Halloween picture. So here it is. Our little witch loved Halloween. She was so cute and just loved trick or treating after the ward's Trunk or Treat. Mom and dad came with us around our neighborhood. They all took turns pushing me around in the wheelchair with Alexis on my lap for a lot of it.The best part about the last little while is that I am still pregnant. We had a big scare at week 25 and I was put on bedrest. Well I am basically off bedrest, but I still move at a snails pace. I am 34 weeks and am scheduled to have a c-section in 2.5 weeks. Crazy! I noticed that my feet are starting to swell. I am monitored twice a week and still getting progesterone shots in my butt every week. I have gained 40 lbs, but Jayne informed me my arms are skinny, so I guess I am fine with 40lbs!! These little boys have all their limbs in one area of my tummy and that is right below my ribs, and ocassionally under my ribs beating the crap out of me. I make a pee pee run every 30 minutes and at least every hour in the night. Ouch! That physically hurts and mentally hurts worse. I have several painful contractions a day, and my belly is starting to PROTRUDE A LOT!!!!! I will post a picture tonight! I am one who NEVER wants to miss church, but I have the last two weeks, because it is just too dang uncomfortable. I also get shin splints up my whole entire legs, and sometimes walking is more that i can stand! The blue shirt picture was taken last week.
probably 7 weeks ago

Okay so last week we had a family baby shower for Jayne and it was sooo fun and soooo cute!!!! Thanks to Kathryn Lemone we borrowed a ton of her stuff to decorate with, but with our finishing touches it was so stinking cute at my mom's house. I am sure the pics won't do it justice. Jayne deserved a great shower and she got some GREAT stuff!!! It was so fun to have her here for a week.

Thanksgiving was very small with just 8 of us this year, but it was so nice and easy and laid back. It was fun to watch mom and pa cook, however I did make a cheeseball and we bought pies! Jayne made a YUMMY jello salad. Mom's turkey was VERY good and the candied yams were a hit again. ALexis helped mom set the table and mom taught her everything she needed to know about the how you set a Thanksgiving table. I am not sure what was exactly dad's specialty, but we was in the kitchen the whole time overseeing all of the food, especially the delicious lemon pepper celery sticks! It was a GREAT day, and I was happy that it was so nice and intimate.

Oh yeah, I had an awesome shower for me a few weeks ago. My GREAT friends put it on for me, but Kathryn really shined on this event. She went all out and it was sooo nice. I have such great friends. I really scored!! These boys are lucky! Jennifer was in town so mom, Natalie, and her were there which made it extra special!

While Jen was here, she and mom REALLY helped me get the nursery going. They let me totally boss them around and they did all the hard labor and painting!!! I am not going to lie it was nice not have to do all that painting. I must admit this nursery is REALLY going to be cute!!!!!

Alexis went to the dentist for the first time. The dentist is my cousin. He was VERY patient with her shyness!

This is a first. I was first to comment on Jen's blog tonight, and now yours.
We loved helping with the nursery, it was really fun actually.
And I think that anybody that sees you, wouldn't believe that you are not bigger than that with twins. You have blossomed quite a bit in the last week though.
The blog was a good catch up. It was a fun couple of weeks.

Great post. I still can't believe how small you are and you have 2 babies in there. Why are they taking you so early? (36 weeks) I can't wait to see pics of them and the nursery. You and jayne both look great. We will be sending a gift soon, but I bought some bigger outfits. Keep posting and take care. Kelley

You look adorable. Your sister is right, your arms are skinny, but I think the rest of you looks just as skinny. We are thrilled for you and Jason. Can't wait to see the new little ones. You will love having boys, they are full of the crazies!

That was a great post! I wished I was there for all of it! My shower was so fun, but yikes.... That picture of me is frightening, where did the third chin come from?? I hate leaving Vegas, I am bummed I am still not there. I am going to ask my Dr if I can come down when you have the babies.

Oh and when are you going to post pictures of the nursery??? That is TOO DANG CUTE to leave out!

SISSY!! I'm so glad you updated all this! Made a little sad, though. I would've loved to make Jayne's shower too and it's always hard to be apart for big events like Thanksgiving etc. But sooo great to have seen you so recently. I can't wait to get out there again to see the little rascals--that's when it really stinks to live so far apart. LOVE YOU and hang in there! XOXO

I keep checking to see if you had your babies yet. I had mine at 35 weeks and we had VERY little complications so congratulations to you. I am so excited for you and you are very blessed to have such a great family that can help you so much. I wasn't every alone for the first six weeks. I highly recommend this! Good Luck!

I loved reading this post, so much to look at and read about. Thanks for sharing! I especially loved the pics of you and Jayne preggers together, what a great pic. Jess, you look amazing for having twins but I can imagine how uncomfortable that must be. So sorry! Can't wait to see the nursery :)
