In September we went to the Waterford Festival. It is a small town, that is exactly as it was in the early 1800's. We learned how early furniture, tools, and housewares were made, we enjoyed music and entertainment
We ate great food - from fresh made apple cider to Loudoun sausage to delicious caramel apples
We visited historic homes and saw how America lived in the 1800's. It really is BEAUTIFUL. The Fall is just breathtaking back here and I LOVE IT!
SO often jason and I will be driving down these gorgeous back roads and we will high five each other that we live here amongst all the beauty.
ALexis standing at an old school. She has this nervous face on because she thought we were leaving her here for school.

It doesn't matter if it's late.. it's still fun to read.

Love the catch up! How are you? Your family is darling!! :) (Oh, to live back east...sigh.)
JESSICA! Love the photos. I'm sure that now that Spring is here, there is a whole new kind of beauty in your area. I'm sure you're LOVING that. I just have to say, from time to time I'll see something that reminds me of you and I miss you. That something is usually a really girly, ruffly, pretty little thing. :) Hope you start blogging more! (But, who am I to talk!?)
Hello Jessica!!! You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Looks like you guys are having such a good time out there! I went to a place called Sturbridge Village years ago out near Boston somewhere. It was just like that. So darling! I wish I lived back then sometimes! I hope all is well. Your kids looks as cute as ever. I love Alexis' face when you are 'leaving' her at the old school.
